The Tide Ministry, 5800 Cumberland Highway, Chambersburg will hold their annual Race to Share the Gospel Around the World Virtual Challenge from May 17th thru June 1st. Participants may choose to run, walk, bike, hike, swim, or play to complete the 16-Day Challenge. Enter your results each day to unlock milestone markers with prayer suggestions for real people and real locations, allowing you to see your progress as you move along the race path in Cameroon. South Fairview 1st Church of God's Famous Chicken BBQ will be on Saturday, May 17 from 11:00 a.m. until sold out. Eat in or take out. Enjoy their delicious half chicken, baken beans, their secret recipe applesauce and a dinner roll for only $12.00. Most say it's the best around! St. Joseph Catholic Church, 400 E. Simpson St., Mechanicsburg will host the Mechanicsburg Ecumenical Choir Concert, Sunday, May 18th from 3-4 p.m. The 36th Annual Ecumenical Choir Concert is sponsored by the Mechanicsburg Area Council of Churches. There will be 74 singers from 29 area churches participating. Money received from a free will offering goes to New Hope Ministries, Mechanicsburg.
